Nick Pullman

Founder
Background

Nick Pullman is the founder of Day One Law. His practice spans venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, token launches, SAFEs and preferred stock transactions, commercial contracts, and the full range of general corporate work, all grounded in a single mission: help builders execute.
‍

Nick has represented hundreds of companies, at every stage of growth. He spent years at Cooley LLP and DLA Piper handling complex transactional work across emerging technologies and venture capital, but his real education came from serving as head of legal at a startup focused on NFTs. That in-house role taught him what founders actually need from counsel, where legal risk truly lives, and why most legal advice gets in the way of execution rather than enabling it.
‍

Today, Nick works directly with founders and investors on venture and pre-seed financings, token launches, M&A, commercial agreements, regulatory strategy, corporate governance, and multi-jurisdictional structuring. He brings particular depth to crypto and blockchain companies navigating unsettled regulatory territory, but his core practice is helping any founder in any vertical move forward with legal clarity and confidence. He gets into the mechanics of how a business actually operates, understands where value and legal risk flow, and helps founders identify what’s non-negotiable and what’s just noise.
‍

He founded Day One Law to scale that approach for the next generation of builders.
