Samuel E. Proctor (Sam) is Of Counsel at Day One Law and focuses on serving the needs of digital asset market participants navigating the complex financial services regulation, as well as entities that invest in the crypto sector, with a particular emphasis on the application of U.S. financial services statutory and regulatory regimes to crypto market activities and transactions and acquiring, leveraging and ongoing ownership of regulatory licenses and assets, custody, investment management, capital markets, and derivatives, as well as advising non-crypto organizations seeking to enter the industry and assisting clients in the analysis of associated business and regulatory risks. Mr. Proctor has previously represented banking and other financial institutions before Federal agencies, including the Federal Reserve Board, the Office of Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
